After growing up on a cattle and grain farm near Shelbyville and graduating from Purdue University with an Agricultural Economics/Sale and Marketing Degree, I have worked various finance and insurance positions, all involving helping customers protect their personal and financial risks with coverage like auto, home, and life insurance. When not at work, I enjoy living in the country with my 3 children, 2 dogs (Genie and Jericho), and cat (Stormi). I’m originally from Indianapolis. Upon graduation, I moved to Cherry Point, North Carolina, and was a former military wife of a Marine. I have 3 sons I am extremely proud of, with 2 in the military and 1 still in high school. I eventually moved to Shelbyville, Indiana, where I felt safe and found the city has a lot to offer. I have a love for pets, especially my cats that I adopted from our local animal shelter, as well as dogs and fish. My hobbies and interests are spending time with my family, being outdoors, cooking, painting, and doing crafts in my spare time.
